Through our 'RM Assessment' division, the onscreen marking experience includes the provision of full marking services to Cambridge Assessment, Europe's largest assessment agency. These services include every phase of marking from scanning, data capture, script storage, marker training and marker standardisation to marker support, support for re-marking and awarding, and script destruction. The division also provides onscreen marking services to many major organisations, including other schools awarding bodies, international professional assessment agencies and to the QCA, who commissioned RM to provide e-marking services for its strategically important Single Level Test pilots.
RM also provides additional assessment services, which further deepen the organisation's understanding of the assessment environment and domain specific requirements. These include the supply of onscreen testing services for the QCA and the provision of test authoring systems and delivery services for awarding bodies. RM also developed, for NFER, the formative assessment solution infer-plan which is amongst the most innovative in the field.
Through its data services subsidiary, RM Data Solutions, RM also has excellent understanding of assessment-related data issues. RM Data Solutions provides national scale data cleaning and analysis services to the UK's education ministry and schools' inspectorate and delivers RAISEonline, the UK government's exam results analysis portal.
