IAEA 2010 Distinguished Student Scholarship Deadline for receipt of submissions: 22 April 2010. The IAEA 2010 Distinguished Student Scholarship will support the attendance of one individual at the 2010 IAEA conference to be held in Bangkok, Thailand from Sunday August 22 to Friday August 27. The scholarship will consist of a maximum stipend of $2000 US to cover travel, subsistence, and conference registration costs. Eligible candidates must be students enrolled full-time in a doctoral degree program in educational measurement or educational assessment, or a closely related field.

From the IAEA Secretary Owing to an irregularity in the nomination process for membership of the IAEA Executive Committee (EXCO) at the recent IAEA Business Meeting in Brisbane, the nomination of EXCO members was declared null and void. (Note: This does not apply to the nomination of IAEA officers, President and Vice-President.) The two IAEA members who were nominated at the Brisbane meeting have already been contacted about the situation. Primary member organizations in the UK have been officially invited by the IAEA secretary to propose their nominee(s).
